The daugher of American singer Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina, has been found 'unresponsive' in a bathtub, days before the third anniversary of her mother's death.
The 21-year-old was discovered by her husband, Nick Gordon and a friend who immediately tried to perform CPR on her, according to BBC News. She was then rushed to hospital in Georgia, Atlanta.
Police spokeswoman Lisa Holland described to CNN the actions of her husband and friend after she was found: "They called 911, started CPR on her, and police arrived first. We took over the lifesaving measures until the fire/rescue and an ambulance arrived. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers."
Sources close to the family have told TMZ that due to swelling on the brain, Bobbi Kristina has been placed in a medically induced coma while father Bobby Brown is now at her bedside.
The case is not being treated as an attempted suicided but is being investigated by police as a drug overdose.
This tragic event is a haunting reminder of the fate of her own mother who died in similar circumstances in the bathtub of the Beverly Hilton Hotel in 2012.
