This is why you can't have nice things. Will.i.am has landed his tenth number 1 single in the UK by selling 327,000 copies of 'It's My Birthday'. Yes, that's right - tenth.
The Black Eyed Peas singer and The Voice presenter's single, which features 17 year old US singer Cody Wise, has replaced Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea at the top spot.
This is the 5th number 1 single Will.I.am has had as a solo artist, which matches the number of chart-topping singles the singer had with The Black Eyed Peas. The tracks , 'Where Is The Love', 'Boom Boom Pow', 'I Gotta Feeling', Meet Me Halfway', and 'The Time (Dirty Bit)'all made number 1.
Elsewhere, Ella Henderson slides one to No. 3 with Ghost, The Vamps climb 35 places to No.4 with 'Somebody To You' and 5th place is taken by George Ezra with the single 'Budapest'.
