After a disastrous PR campaign and dismal global sales, Robin Thicke's Paula has failed to land in the top 100 albums in the UK.
According to the Official Charts Company, Thicke's second album hasn't even managed to break into the rankings, demonstrating one of the biggest drops in sales the music industry has ever seen. To put it in context, 'Blurred Lines' sold 1.5 million copies in the UK, whereas Paula as last reports stand has shifted 520 units in the midweeks last week.
The album has reportedly sold fewer than 55 copies in Australia and as many as 550 in Canada. An international disappointment, the album named, after Thicke's estranged wife and actress Paula Patton, performed better over the pond, shifting 25,000 copies in the US but still failing to achieve a respectable position.

It remains to be seen where the album will land in the Billboard top 200, which will be released on Wednesday. Paula has fast become the laughing stock of the music industry however, which might have something to do with the stalker vibe that seems has been added to the questionable sexual politics mix.
