Depeche Mode and Erasure’s Vince Clarke has remixed 'Dove' by Future Islands. Check it out below.

Somewhat unexpectedly, Clarke has reworked ‘Doves’ from the North Carolina group’s 2014 album Singles, with the remix appearing on the band’s Youtube channel last night (5 August).

Bringing more formulaic dance elements into play by incorporating a four to the floor beat, Clarke’s rework maintains the emotional intensity of the original whilst subtly taking it into more dancefloor-friendly territories.

2014 has seen Future Islands receive worldwide popularity, with Singles already sitting as one of the highest acclaimed albums of the year so far.

After a string of festival appearances this summer, Future Islands will return to the UK in November for two shows in Manchester and London. For dates and more information visit here.
