This year's Association of Independent Music Awards nominations have been announced - with London Grammar receiving four nods while Arctic Monkeys, Courtney Barnett and more are also leading the way.

The shortlist was announced at Red Bull Studios in London last night (Tuesday 12 August), with the nominations seeking to highlight 'the diversity and creative talent of independent music in 2014'.

The awards celebrate the full spectrum of independent music - from bands and record labels to festivals, publications and beyond. London Grammar have scored the most nominations including for Best Live Act, Independent Breakthrough of The Year, Independent Track of The Year and Independent Album of The Year, while Arctic Monkeys have been tipped in the Independent Album of The Year and Independent Track of The Year categories.
