It has been revealed that Arnaud Azoulay and Vincent Lacoste have been cast as Daft Punk in Eden, the upcoming film that documents the rise of French electro.
Painted largely as a biopic, it is told from the perspective of DJ Sven Love, part of Cheers. Said to be heavily autobiographical, the movie follows Paul (played by Felix De Givry) as he discovers the party scene and goes on to create his own DJ project. The film will also feature some of the most prominent parties and DJ's from the scene's long history.
The plot features an appearance from Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, who would go on to become Daft Punk. Apparently the robots have signed off on the script and will be played by Arnaud Azoulay and Vincent Lacoste, respectively.

The film which is released through Canal, will get its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival next month. It also stars Greta Gerwig, Brady Corbet, and Laura Smet.
