Despite reports to the contrary, Diplo has denied that he and Skrillex were booed off stage during a surprise appearance at Burning Man Festival.
The pair, performing under the moniker Jack U, filled in last minute for DJ Seth Troxler at the US festival. However, according to Pulse Radio, their set was cut shot when Diplo attempted to play DJ Snake and Lil Jon's 'Turn Down To What', which was met with heavy booing and forced the two to leave the stage.
However since these reports surfaced, Diplo has taken to Twitter to deny these reports, insisting that people in fact cheered his choice of track.
@PulseRadio @burningman of u check the video we played techno for an hour and ended w turn down for what and people cheered lol ask robot💗

In a lengthy TwitLonger post, the DJ also said: "There was no booing .. No bad vibes ... Nothing about seth troxler was true either... I wanna say one thing... I'm a dj thru and thru .."
He added: "We weren't kicked off or booed .. Jus wrapped our set up with an inside joke ... And of all the stories to come out after an amazing week... This is pretty tabloidish that's not what burningman is about.. Everything we did there was good fun and all the people that attended knows it.."
Sadly there's currently no video online of their set which can prove or disprove either story.
