U2 will reportedly play a 'significant part' in a major announcement from Apple today, the NY Times claims.
The band's involvement with the announcement is yet to be revealed, however rumours are circling that the tech-giant is set to reveal an 'iWatch' as well as the new iPhone 6, or something similar.
In a blog on the NY Times website, the paper is claiming that "In addition to performing, the band will reveal an integration with Apple’s products that is connected to its next album, which is expected to come out by the end of the year".
Spokespeople for both Apple and U2 were reportedly refused to comment on any future partnerships, which would suggest there is some truth to these rumours, though no further details have been revealed other than sheer speculation.

This wouldn't be the first time U2 collaborated with Apple, after the band released a limited edition iPod in 2004 that came with their album already stored on it and the signatures of all four members etched on the back.
U2 are expected to release new material soon, so it wouldn't be a huge stretch of the imagination for the band to work with the huge tech company again.
