Sting will appear as a guest on iconic US TV show Inside The Actors Studio later this month, full details are below.
Promoting his forthcoming Broadway musical The Last Ship, the former Police frontman and illustrious solo artist will sit down with host James Lipton on 23 October for an in depth dissection of his creative process, his life, and career as a whole.
The musical, which opens on 26 October is partially inspired by Sting's 1991 album The Soul Cages, but is unsurprisingly based predominantly around his 2013 album The Last Ship.
Speaking of the episode, host James Lipton said: "Performing numerous songs and revealing himself with unprecedented candor, irresistible charm and undisguised emotion, he has brought us a Sting that his legion of followers has never seen before."
He continued, "In the 21 years of Inside the Actors Studio, there has never been an episode like Sting's."
The episode will also see Sting perform various tracks to an intimate crowd at Pace University in New York City.

Next year will see Sting embark on a joint tour with Paul Simon, with the duo playing multiple arenas around the UK.
