Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil has revealed plans for the band's seventh album, explaining there could be new record in 2015.
Speaking to NME at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Glasgow this weekend, Neil explained the band were taking their time with the follow up to 2013's Opposites, but had material in the works.
"We're getting [the next album] together," he said. "Realistically it won’t be out until the end of next year. We’re working on the songs now, but we don’t want to rush it" the frontman explained on the red carpet.
"We’ve been in everyone's faces for the last couple of years, so I think it's important to disappear for a wee while and then come back all guns blazing."

Neil was at the awards to close the ceremony, performing with Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash and Ozzy Osbourne for a rendition of 'Crazy Train'.
The frontman has also been immersing himself in different projects recently, providing tracks for Radio 1's rescoring of the Drive soundtrack alongside the likes of Chvrches, Bastille and The 1975 among others.
Biffy Clyro will be perform at Relentless Live at London's The Troxy on 22 November.
Meanwhile, the band will also be playing a run of album shows in Glasgow next month.
