Muse have announced two further festival dates and are headlining Pinkpop in the Netherlands and Rock Werchter in Belgium.
Following on the announcement that they will be playing Download, Rock In Roma, Bilbao BBK, Nos Alive, Rockavaria and Der Ring - Grune Holle Rock, their latest festival dates have just been announced.
Pinkpop takes place in Landgraaf, 134 miles from Amsterdam and is held 12-14 June 2015 - the only other band on the bill announced so far is Foo Fighters. The ticket presale is scheduled for mid March 2015.
Rock Werchter runs from 25-28 June (which presumably means that Muse won't be doing Glastonbury?) and will also feature Foo Fighters on the bill. Tickets go on sale on 29 November at 9am.
The news comes after the band revealed that the new LP would be produced by legendary AC/DC producer Robert 'Mutt' Lange, after they told fans to expect the record to be released in summer 2015.
In a series of tweets earlier this summer, frontman Bellamy described the new album's central themes as "deep ecology, the empathy gap and World War 3." There may be high levels of irony in this part. He also revealed that his disdain for guitar solos has mellowed on the new album, and mentioned a "sequel" to Origin Of Symmetry track 'Citizen Erased'. The band have previously spoken about how the record will be 'rockier', 'more raw' and much more back to basics than the synth and classical-inspired sounds on their more recent albums.
