Gary Numan, George Clinton, Zomby, Darkstar and Tricky are just some of the artists announced for Convergence 2015.
The festival, taking place at various venues around London and spanning over 10 days, is 'a series of events focusing on pioneers who use technology to innovate: to break the usual beat rather than getting stuck in a loop.'
Last year's lineup included music from electronic artists like Jacques Greene, Digitalism, Koreless and Mount Kimbie. This year the festival features a similarly exciting line up, alongside talks which include Convergence's presentation of Matthew Herbert and George Clinton at FutureFest on 14 and 15 March.
The festival's curator, Glenn Max said "This year Convergence expands into new venues including Royal Festival Hall and Kachette on Old Street. And for the first time presents pioneering legends like George Clinton and Gary Numan."
"With its emphasis on live performance, new music, spontaneity, collaboration and one-off experimentation, Convergence seeks to promote intuition from its artists and inspire wonder in its audiences. I'm thrilled to present such a rich array of era-defining artists and honoured to offer this event to London as an inclusive, dynamic dialogue about our shape-shifting cultural epoch.''
