Azealia Banks has hit out at Iggy Azalea in a series of tweets concerning the Eric Garner verdict.
Following the decision not to indict the officer responsible for the choke hold that killed Garner, New York erupted into protests and a number of prominent musicians spoke out on Twitter about the verdict.
However Azealia Banks decided to use this opportunity to continue her ongoing feud with Iggy Azalea. In a series of tweets Banks attacked Azalea for her lack of support of black culture and revisit a lyric from her September 2011 mixtape when Azalea describes herslef as a "slave master". To make sure things were kept suitably surreal, Banks also threw in a few lyrics from her own 'Nude Beach a-go-go'.
its funny to see people Like Igloo Australia silent when these things happen... Black Culture is cool, but black issues sure aren't huh?

Given the tirade it would have been easy for Azalea to return with a cheap shot at Banks. Instead she took the high road by informing her followers how they could genuinely help the situation.
Theres more to sparking a change than trolling on social media. World issues shouldnt be used as a poor excuse to promote fan battles.

At one point Perez Hilton also became drawn into the battle, during which yet again Azalea defended her use of the word 'faggot' but at this point we decided to concentrate on the coverage of the protests instead.
