Axl Rose has fallen victim to the latest string of celebrity death hoaxes and has responded by asking whether he still has to pay taxes.
Earlier today, MSNBC posted an article claiming the Guns N Roses frontman had been found dead in his West Hollywood home on Tuesday afternoon.
Fans fell hook, line and sinker with 'RIP Axl Rose' messages flooding in. Rose jumped on Twitter to reassure fans that he was very much alive and there is no cause for concern:
If I'm dead do I still have to pay taxes?

The piece was cleverly constructed to resemble an official MSNBC, complete with a fabricated quote from a police official, which as a result fooled many.
To prove he is absolutely live and kicking, moderators of the Guns N Roses official Facebook page shared a photo of Rose with the caption:
“Ha! They say I'm dead — again… Wait, what? WTF? It's a hoax. Guys. Get a life at ParadiseCity.com."
Guns & Roses are expected to announce a full tour in 2015. The band's tour DJ Ashba told Legendary Rock Interviews: "We are planning on doing quite a bit of touring this coming year. The focus is getting in a studio and putting together what we all feel is the best Guns N’ Roses record. Lack of material is not an issue. We have tons of stuff. Axl has two full albums that he has recorded, he has played me a bunch of songs off of that, are incredible! I can’t wait to get in and kind of dive into those as well. I’ve written tons of songs & demoed up a bunch of stuff. I think it is just a matter of getting in & sifting through the piles of material."
