Kasabian's Serge Pizzorno has stated the blatantly obvious, and labelled the Queen's Christmas speech as "pointless."
The annual speech, which is broadcast every Christmas Day on the BBC, is one of the few occasions where the Queen writes her own words without turning to the Government (i.e. those who have actually been democratically elected) for guidance.
Speaking to NME, Pizzorno said: "Is it necessary that she even does one? It's pointless. It's never one in our house." He added, "She should probably address not having one - go on the telly and go, 'Look there's no point in this.'"
Tom Meighan, meanwhile, discussed his Christmas routine: "The dinner's massive, but people fuck it up all the time. Alcohol is probably the one essential. That, and don't invite the black sheep members of the family over, because it'll only end in tears."
The band wrapped up their UK arena tour earlier this month, and recently revealed that they're ready to perform in stadiums.
