Everything Everything have officially announced details surrounding the release of their third album.
The new album entitled Get To Heaven, is set for release on 15 June. The announcement was made on Facebook through the following post:
This follows the announcement of their eagerly anticipated single ‘Distant Past’ due out this week.
Information surrounding the album and its contents has been sparse. The band have released little apart from cryptic messages on Facebook. Yet the band did speak to NME saying that the album will be heavily inspired by events that transpired in the world during the last year: “I think you’d have to be blind and deaf to have lived through 2014 and not shed a tear. If you put out a record this year and it’s all smiles, then I think you’re a liar, basically.”
Jonathan Higgs, singer of Everything Everything, revealed that the band are working with producer Stuart Price (Kylie Minogue, Pet Shop Boys) on the album.
