The sun is shining down on Latitude day two this morning, as festival-goers flock to the lakes of Henham Park's lake for a morning swim ahead of today's stellar batch of artists.
There's no better way to perk everybody up after a night of dancing to Alt-J than with a cold dip in the lake - and this is the first year that swimming has been allowed at the festival. WIth barely a cloud in sight this morning, the waters quickly filled up as soon as the gates were opened at 10am.
They'd be wise to make it a quick one though - the music kicks off shortly, and it's arguably the best day for music of the whole festival. With early afternoon sets from the likes of Drenge, Nadine Shah, Beach Baby and Badly Drawn Boy, things only go up from there.
Later this afternoon, Marika Hackman, Jose Gonzalez, Wolf Alice, Lianne La Havas, The Charlatans and Laura Marling - pretty much the perfect handful of acts for a sunny English afternoon - will perform.
Meanwhile, ahead of Portishead's headline set tonight, James Blake will play the Obelisk Arena while Catfish and the Bottlemen - one of the biggest success stories of the last six months - play the BBC 6 Music stage. Other noteworthy artists on the bill include Savages, Lonelady, Prides and many more.
We told you it was going to be a good day. Check back at Gigwise for the latest Latitude news, reviews and photos.
