Jon Bon Jovi has announced a new reality show entitled 'If I Wasn't A Rock Star'.

The Bon Jovi singer and guitarist will be partnering with TWC-Dimension for the show, which will bring musicians back to their hometowns to see what their lives would have been like had they not been successful.

With no managers, representatives or hangers-on, the rockstars will seek to envision what would have happened to them if they had never become famous. Bon Jovi says, "I was drawn to this project simply because it will be a celebration of the working men and women of this country. They are the real rock stars."

According to the show's executive producer, Bob Weinsten, the series will give fans "a chance to see their favourite stars as they’ve never imagined them before. We can’t wait to see what other amazing talent comes on board".

The participating stars for now are unknown.
