Muse recently announced that they plan on flying drones over the heads of their audiences. Frontman Matt Bellamy told Los Angeles Radio Station Alt 98.7 that, in keeping with the name and concept of his band’s forthcoming album, they want to incorporate actual drones.
"We always like to use the modern technology in our shows, the latest video screens or light shows, lasers, whatever is out there," he said. "Drones are obviously an interesting thing to try to bring into the live show so we're going to try and do that. There's going to be some difficulty with red tape of health and safety about flying things over, but the general thing idea is that as the tour starts that we'll be using flying objects."
Drones is set for release on June 9 via Warner Brose. Records.
The tracklisting is as follows:
1. Dead Inside
2. [Drill Sergeant]
3. Psycho
4. Mercy
5. Reapers
6. The Handler
7. [JFK]
8. Defector
9. Revolt
