John Grant has announced that he will be touring the UK this winter, kicking off in November and continuing on into the new year.
Grant will be releasing his third LP, Grey Tickles, Black Pressure on 2 October through Bella Union - and he’s now confirmed plans to follow up a short run of autumn shows with a number of dates in 2016.
After beginning in Glasgow, Grant will then head to Belfast, Coventry, Cambridge, Southampton, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Gateshead and Sheffield between 26 January and 11 February.
After closing the tour in Sheffield, Grant will also be performing a one-off show at London’s Royal Albert Hall in June 2016.
Grant released his second solo album, Pale Green Ghosts, in 2013. In 2014, he released a live album with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.
Grant will also be playing Iceland's acclaimed Airwaves Festival with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra in November.
