Emily Eavis has clarified her father's remarks about the final headliner, saying that one band will headline the Sunday night spot.
Writing on Twitter, Eavis was asked to respond to a query "any truth to the rumours of a Sunday night charity super group arranged by Chris Martin". She tweeted back "ah, don't get confused by the two bands together story! We are announcing one band as headliner but a great penultimate too.."
As previously reported, following a talk at London's Victoria & Albert Museum on (Tuesday 21 April), festival boss Michael Eavis revealed that not only will the next Glastonbury announcement be on 1 June, but that the bands involved were "most likely" British and that Coldplay's Chris Martin was involved.
It remains unclear whether or not this means Coldplay could either headline or play a secret slot, or perhaps if Martin is involved in another capacity. It is worth noting however, that Emily denied Coldplay would headline saying in March, saying: "It's not Coldplay, this is the first year that most of the rumours are wrong."
However, things change and Coldplay are no strangers to Worthy Farm - having headlined four times previously, the last in 2011. They are currently bookies' favourites, facing off Stone Roses and Madonna.
Earlier this month, a massive 70 acts were announced for the 2015 event, with the likes of Patti Smith, Florence + The Machine and Pharrell Williams joining the previously announced headliners of Foo Fighters and Kanye West.
