Alan W. Livingston died of old age on March 13th at 91 after a long successful career as a record executive. He began by writing and creating children's books and characters including the infamous 'Bozo the Clown'. He's best known for signing The Beatles to Capitol Records in 1963 and taking them to America in 1964.
