Randy Cain founded soul group The Delfonics in Philadelphia in the late 1960s along with brothers William and Wilbert Hart. They were responsible for such hits as the Grammy-winning ‘Didn’t I Blow Your Mind This Time’ and ‘La-La (Means I Love You)’. Cain quit in 1971 in order to form Blue Magic, but he returned in later incarnations of The Delfonics. He died aged 63 on April 9th.
