Brighton festival kicks off - see exclusive pics from day one
10 May, 2012: Festival season has official begun, with the Brighton seaside currently bouncing to the sounds of some of the biggest bands in the UK - and beyond.
Kicking off on Thursday this week, Gigwise headed down for the first night of live music, catching Friends, Django Django, Maximo Park and Mystery Jets - among others. See exclusive photos of day one's action below.
The festival continues until Saturday 12 May, and you can check out some of the best bands (as recommended by Gigwise) right here.
