Life after the band for these 10 rockers?
10 June: Happy Birthday Kim Deal - one of the coolest bassists in rock history. While she's sorely missed from Pixies' line-up, it's worth celebrating that she's still very much an active artist. Saying goodbye is never easy, but lately we've seen a fair few many big stars leaving the bands that we love so dearly - whether it's Kim Deal parting with Pixies, Joey Jordison being kicked out of Slipknot or Gwil Sainsbury leaving Alt-J. But what happens next? We wanted to find out.
From Arctic Monkeys, Oasis and Interpol to My Chemical Romance and Metallica, musical history has seen it's fair share of shock departures. Here are 10 of the biggest, along with updates on what the former bandmembers are up to these days.
Ever wondered what happened to Andy from Arctic Monkeys, or what life had in store for D'Arcy from Smashing Pumpkins? What about that cool Carlos D from Interpol? Well, come with us as we look at 10 rockers who left or were fired from bands - where are they now?
