Boys Noize: The German producer is also a good contender for the world's top DJ, putting on live shows that are as eclectic as they are brilliant. Think heavy techno and dance meets rap music, fused with the less abrasive elements of big room. One for the bassface crew.

Reading is a rock festival. This is the mantra that we hear over and over again. However, that really isn't true at all any more. Instead, the line-up has gone on to represent all genres in an impressively comprehensive fashion. Along with the rock that dominates many of the stages, programmers have selected a list of fresh emerging acts to be reckoned with.
Taking in all kinds of genres from dance music, to electro pop to hip hop and grime, there are a whole heap of brilliant acts that any music fan should be checking out. After all that's done you can head back to the main stage and lose yourself in a Queens of the Stone Age instigated mosh pit. The weekend is going to be a brilliant mixture of eclecticism.
