Former Lostprophets members are putting their past behind them

25 July, 2014: All members of No Devotion, except their lead singer, used to be in Lostprophets, the band whose adoring fanbase was crushed after lead singer Ian Watkins was sent to prison for a string of horrifying sex offences. It's a fact that there is no point, at least for the moment, attempting to avoid. "A lot of you are here because you knew the band that these guys were in before," No Devotion frontman Geoff Rickly told the packed crowd at the new band's first ever London show. "You literally saw one of the worst fucking breakups of all time."
The Welsh rockers, with the addition of a New Jersey lead singer, may not be attempting to hide their previous band's dark break-up, but they're certainly not letting it stop them from playing great music.
Taking their emo-rock sound into post-punk and electro territory, No Devotion played a relatively short set - just nine songs, but insist it's because they're "just getting started."
Check out some stunning photos from No Devotion's debut London show.
