The John Lewis Christmas advert has already been given an amazing recut, replacing Tom Odell's cover of John Lennon with audio from horror film The Babadook. Watch it below.
Mere hours after the advert surfaced online, Jon Harvey has given the insidiously cute clip a terrifying twist, replacing our sense of annoyance at Monty The Penguin with festive fear.
This is no doubt the first of many recuts that will surface online over the coming days, with the hugely popular adverts becoming rife for parody in recent years.

The original advert featured Brits critics choice winner Tom Odell covering John Lennon's 'Real Love', the first piece of material to surface from the singer since his divisive debut album Long Way Down, which was released last year.
