Here's how to work a record player, courtesy of St Vincent

The singer's limited-edition EP is out this Friday

 

St Vincent promotes Pieta vinyl release for Black Friday Photo:

St. Vincent is set to release a limited-edition 10" EP for Black Friday, and she's kindly recorded a short video showing fans how to work a record player.

The video, which is delivered in Annie Clark's characteristic deadpan style, is possibly the least useful instructional video we've ever watched.

"Hi guys," she begins. "I'm here in rainy London with a very important message. I have a 10" coming out on Black Friday. Side A is called 'Pieta'. Side B is called 'Sparrow'... and this is how you work a record player."

The camera (which, as you can see in the reflection of her sunglasses, she is operating herself) then pans to the bright pink vinyl spinning in a record player.

The limited-edition 10-inch vinyl EP will be released on 28 November, for Record Store Day's Black Friday event.
