The up and coming Australian singer/songwriter Josef Salvat has released a devastatingly beautiful video for his single 'Hustler'. Watch it below
The video was directed by Casper Balslev, a man well known for his talents in thought-provoking film making. He has created videos in the past for the likes of MØ and The Presets, as well as a host of artistic and provocative short films.
The 'Hustler' video is dark and brooding and impeccably shot. It exhibits Salvat as a man seemingly incapable of love - here mirroring the melancholic message of the song; with the heart of a hustler, he is cold, hard and driven. From the title shot to the beginning and end monologues, to the young women in blonde wigs and back alley night fights, the video has the finesse and feel of a Fifties Hollywood blockbuster.
