Bristol five-piece Chikinki unleash new single 'Ether Radio' on June 7. The follow up to single 'Like It Or Leave It' is taken from their forthcoming album 'Lick Your Ticket' which is released on June 21 through Island. Full of fast-forward pop and playful electro sounds, it was recorded in Bath with renowned producer Steve Osborne (U2/New Order), then mixed in London by the equally respected Alan Moulder (Depeche Mode/Smashing Pumpkins).
Covered with glam and style, Chikinki have arrived to trash the party and sex up the dossier. This is going to be their second full-length release, after 2001s “Experiment with Mother” through Bristol indie label Sink & Stove. "This is our Going Out record," explains Boris, "The last one was our Staying In record."
Chikinki are also finishing their support slot with The Charlatans in Liverpool Saturday May 29. To celebrate the end of the dates with them, the band is going to play an aftershow gig at Barfly round midnight (rumours say Burgess is also going to be there djing!!) .
