Warpaint bassist Jenny Lee Lindberg has unveiled the first taster of her debut solo album with the brilliant lead single 'Never'. Check out the video below.
Going under the name Jennylee, 'Never' is an intoxicating cloud of post-punk wandering rhythms, ghostly vocals and a bewitching chorus of howling yearning. Think Joy Division at their most propulsive met with The Cure at their most atmospheric and send it racing into the 21st Century and you're not too far off.
But yeah, this is really good.
