Kanye West has debuted the first track from his long-awaited new album. Listen to 'Wolves' below.
Following on from the leak of 'All Day' and the release of Paul McCartney collaboration 'Only One', 'Wolves' is the second official track to be previewed. It was unveiled last night during the launch of Adidas Yeezy 750 Boost and features Sia, Vic Mensa and the always excellent Cashmere Cat on production.
The track itself is interesting, as the opening track on the album it seems more concerned with atmosphere than impact. The autotune does become overbearing, making it difficult to discern who is singing, West or Mensa, leaving a feeling the talent on the song isn't used to its full potential.
Listen to 'Wolves' from 8:15 onwards
Nevertheless the internet reaction to the song has been mainly positive:

Meanwhile, the release date for the album remains unconfirmed, although all signals are pointing to it landing in the very near future. Most likely as a stealth release. You have been warned.
This comes after a mixed week for Yeezy. First he interrupted Beck's GRAMMY acceptancce speech and demand he gave it to Beyonce (a move he blamed on 'the voices in his head'), before Garbage's Shirley Manson led the march against him while Beck himself remained rather humble and gentlemanly about the whole event.
