Madonna has posted a picture of a Muslim and a Jewish man engaged in a kiss, yet again sparking controversy in the promotion for her new album, Rebel Heart.
The image seems to be a nod towards the Israel-Palastine conflict, which has initiated a debate which ranges from support of the message of love to offence towards the religions which do not accept homosexuality. One comment read: "I'm arab, and I found this great! People have the right to be whoever they want to be and be who they really are..."
Whilst others considered it to be a simple message of love: "If this pic portraying love between two human beings is 'causing a commotion'....YOU PEOPLE HAVE TOO MUCH TIME ON YOUR HANDS. GET A LIFE!!! IT'S LOVE, IT'S HUMAN."
The Instagram post is accompanied by the hashtag #rebelhearts, the title of her latest album. See the post below:
The singer has been setting off controversy during the promotion of Rebel Heart, which included her praising Margaret Thatcher, which was swiftly deleted by the singer after a flurry of complaints.
