Faith No More's Mike Patton has hinted that the band may split once again following their forthcoming tour, saying, "We don't have a plan after this tour or this record."
The band first split back in 1998, before reforming in 2009. Last week, they released their seventh studio album, and first in nearly 20 years, Sol Invictus.
Speaking to Billboard though, the band seemed unsure of their plans for the future. "An old man only looks to the next day," said Mike Patton, despite only being 47. "We're old men. So what you do is, you look to the next day or the next plan, and, honestly, we don't have a plan after this tour or this record."

The band's bassist Bill Gould also touched upon the ageing process, likening the band's new record to an ageing actress (somewhat patronisingly?), "Sure, her body's getting a little older, but she's not afraid to show it; she's still sexy. When you're younger and you're insecure, in a way you don't have the mojo, the juice, you know."
