Kanye West's divisive Glastonbury headline set may have proven more controversial that first thought, receiving a number of complaints from BBC viewers.
Well, we say 'a number' - that number is 44, which isn't that many in comparison to the thousands that took online to the thousands that took online to voice their disgust at his performance.

Now, The Guardian reports that despite warning viewers of bad language well ahead of the 9pm watershed, Ofcom still received 44 complaints - with the body now deciding whether or not there was a breach of their broadcasting codes of practice.
Maybe they wouldn't have been quite so upset if they just read the subtitles. The BBC's subtitles department had a grand old time attempting to make his language a little more PG - though eventually, it seems, they just gave up and wrote "HE RAPS".

It is worth noting that a much greater number of people complained about his BRIT Awards performance, with 150 calling in their anger.
