Thom Yorke has separated from his longtime girlfriend, Rachel Owens, after 23 years together.
In his issued statement, the Radiohead and Atoms For Peace frontman said: "Rachel and I have separated. After 23 highly creative and happy years, for various reasons we have gone our separate ways. It’s perfectly amicable and has been common knowledge for some time."
Yorke and Owen met during their time at the University of Exeter. They have two children, Noah, born in 2001, and their daughter Agnes, born in 2004.

Yorke has been keeping himself busy in the meantime, working on Radiohead's ninth studio album. Radiohead drummer, Philip Selway, has revealed that the bands schedule is to become "quite a full schedule".
Speaking about the new album, Selway said: "For so long we kind of played exclusively with each other and that takes you so far, so I suppose from album to album you try to push yourself beyond your comfort zone."
On the front of Yorke's solo material, he recently debuted three new songs while playing a show in Japan.
