The Rolling Stones have said that they are unable to play the UK when they tour Europe in 2017 because of a lack of suitable venues.
Mick Jagger and co announced their huge tour named 'No Filter' this week, which includes shows in Hamburg, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Paris. A lack of UK dates didn't go unnoticed by fans however.
Now, taking to Twitter, the band have claimed scheduled sporting fixtures have resulted in there being a "lack of available venues". The Stones then said they hope to return to the UK next year.
Intimate shows have been pretty popular lately though. Just a suggestion, guys...
Sorry to our UK fans there are no UK dates on this run,due to lack of available venues because of sporting fixtures. Hope to be here in 2018 pic.twitter.com/X3NGYO5sE3
