Bad news, people. Belle And Sebastian have cancelled their November tour throughout Europe which was supposed to start next week.
The band cited Stuart Murdoch’s health as the reason for this disappointing news, releasing a statement on their website expressing their regret, which you can read in full below:
"Belle and Sebastian regret to announce the cancellation of their upcoming tour of mainland Europe. This is due to lead singer Stuart Murdoch’s current health.
"It is a huge disappointment for us not to make the concerts, and the decision was not taken easily. Stuart wants nothing else but to be able to play and sing for you, but has to get better first.
"We hope you understand.

The band were supposed to be hitting a number of major European cities over the next month, including Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Zurich, Cologne, Brussels and Hamburg.
Luckily for U.K fans, there's no word on the iconic band's two Royal Albert shows that are set to take place in June of next year. To honour their incredible twenty years together, they'll be playing the incredible venue between 22-23 June. Belle And Sebastian came together in Glasgow in 1996, releasing their first two albums 'Tigermilk' and 'If You're Feeling Sinister' during that first year.
