Bad news for Adele fans - it looks like her long-awaited new album 25 featuring the huge No.1 'Hello', might not be available to listen to on Spotify.
The multi-multi-multi-million selling Adele finally returns with her third LP 25 next week. It's set to be the biggest-selling album of the year, but reports suggest that you may have to pay if you want to hear it.
The Verge reports that the 'Someone Like You' megastar Adele Silva is currently in talks with the streaming service for it to appear on the paid premium service only.
She previously kept second album 21 from appearing on Spotify for a year after they refused to make it available to paying listeners only, however a Spotify spokesman has since spoken out to say: "It is categorically untrue that anyone has asked us to feature Adele's new album on premium only."
Taylor Swift famously pulled her music from Spotify - arguing that 'music shouldn't be free' - while Bjork argued that Spotify showed 'no respect' to artists' and The Who's Pete Townsend referred to them as 'fucking crooks'.
We imagine it would be in their interests to hook up a deal - especially after comeback single 'Hello' wracked up a massive 7.32 listens on Spotify in its first week alone.
This week, Adele was also named one of the richest under-30s in Britain - with a massive net worth.
