All geeks of a certain age were thrilled this week at the news that Robot Wars will be returning to our screens for more extreme destruction. Well, that's not all - as a single recorded by Sir Killalot back in the day has been spreading online. It's pretty special.
This week, it was revealed that BBC Two had commissioned six new episodes of the cult show in which they promise "more robots, more battles and more science".
Well, as excitement spreads, an incredible piece of forgotten musical history has emerged - a trashy piece of Euro-dance brilliance featuring someone called 'Robo Babe'. The amazing 'Android Love' is a cheese-laden 90s nightmare, but better than anything Cascada have ever recorded.
The single reached No.51 in the charts in the year 2000, which is pretty amazing when you think about it.

It has yet to be announced whether or not Craig Charles, Philippa Forrester or the original house robots will be re-appearing, but we should all start designing our robots immediately.
