Justin Bieber is currently beating One Direction in the race for the No.1 album spot today, with Purpose currently sitting above Made In The A.M. at the height of the ITunes charts. There’s plenty of other records out as well that probably stand no chance, but we’ll give you the low down before they’re inevitably dragged down by these unstoppable pop stars.

The deluxe version of Bieber's Purpose is sat firmly at No.1 in the Itunes album chart, while Made In The A.M. is resting uncomfortably at No.2. The regular version of Purpose is currently at No.10, highlighting the fact that Beliebers want it all or they want nothing at all.

Biebs is probably relieved that Metallica aren't releasing anything today, but In terms of albums, Kylie Minogue has released her Christmas LP (cough...) which hosts collaborations with the likes of James Corden, Iggy Pop, Frank Sinatra, Chris Martin and, drum roll please, her sister Dannii! It gets even more exciting, people.

X Factor 2014 winner Ben Haenow has released his self titled studio debut and Mr Ed Sheeran has unleashed the Wembley edition of his hugely successful sophomore album, X. We wonder if that's the show where he did something pretty disgusting.

In the musical realm of singles, B:Format's 'Chunky' finally has been released, with the upbeat dance track sampling rock band Huey Lewis & The News's 'Function At The Junction'.

Years & Years have also released 'Eyes Shut' and the Queen frontman Adam Lambert's 'Another Lonely Night' has made its way onto the physical and digital shelves.
