Chris Moyles, for better or worse, has been experiencing a resurgence in exposure recently after taking over the breakfast show of Xfm's new station Radio X. But he's not exactly seen a resurgence in popularity. In fact, he was hit on the head with a full plastic pint glass in Leeds this week. Watch it below.
The DJ has been touring the UK as part of Radio X's Road Trip, which sees a series of acts take to the stage throughout the country. On Monday (23 November), the Road Trip took Moyles to Leed's O2 Academy, where The Courteeners headlined.
Moyles - who courted much controversy during his eight years at BBC Radio One thanks to several sexist and homophobic comments - took to the stage to a barrage of heckles ahead of the band's performance, and one particularly ticked off member of the crowd decided to waste their no-doubt overpriced pint by throwing it at his head. They hit their target with surprising precision, and Moyles ended up soaked but unharmed.

Radio X Road Trip continues on to Manchester Apollo on 2 December with Noel Gallagher, and then finishes in Birmingham with James Bay on 8 December. Get tickets and more information here.
