The Libertines surprised a handful of fans last night, when they played a last minute secret and intimate gig at The Boogaloo in London - hinting that they might play more impromptu gigs.
The band have been largely touring around Europe throughout the year after capping off their UK tour with a huge gig at The O2 in London, while Pete Doherty also played a string of solo shows to launch his new upcoming album.
Much more humble than The O2, rumours of the band appearing at the tiny London boozer and old haunt The Boogaloo started to circulate in the afternoon, before tickets to a show went on sale for £10 and featured support sets from Palma Violets and Trampolene.
Then, the band arrived on stage at midnight before treating fans to a run of violin-backed Libs classics
