Muse have spoken out after the recent attempted military coup in Turkey, and have been forced to cancel their upcoming appearance in the capital of Istanbul.
The Drones stars, who recently headlined the Glastonbury with an epic opening night performance, have pulled out of their scheduled gig in Istanbul at the Blue Night venue after last week saw armed forces attempted to overthrow President Recep Erdogan in a failed coup.
Now, the country is in dissarray with thousands of police and troops in jail, and many government officials sacked.
Taking to Twitter to address the situation, Muse said: "We regret that, in light of recent capricious events in Turkey, we have decided to cancel our conert which was scheduled to take place on July 26. You can get a full refund of your tickets at www.biletix.com or all Bile outlets. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. We look forward to seeing our Turkish fans in the future.”
