More hardcore royalty have returned, the seminal New York band Glassjaw have returned after 13 years and they couldn't have come at a better time. With yesterday's news of an At The Drive In reunion, the hardcore community have been bubbling ready to boil. Now, with a new Glassjaw song and tour date announcement, things are going to get hot.
The track is titled 'NewWhiteExtremity' and it's, as you can imagine, an onslaught of gravelley guitars, cutthroat bass and take-no-prisoner vocals. As Glassjaw's career progressed, the four piece developed a penchant for noise-rock and the dissonant arts. 'NewWhiteExtremity' is a continuation of this evolution sounding more unforgiving and charged than ever.
No news of an album release yet, any release would be the long-awaited follow-up to 2002's Worship and Tribute. We're not sure what to expect from Glassjaw, the new track was posted on Soundcloud last night only to be taken down and re-uploaded this morning.
