Prince’s relationship with the internet has never been a happy one. The ‘Adore’ singer famously pulled his back catalogue from all sites, bar Tidal, earlier this year and even sued YouTube in 2007. So in a completely unexpected move, the legendary performer has re-uploaded a much loved video to the web.

Back in 2008, Prince famously covered Radiohead’s 'Creep' at Coachella – and, of course, it was a viral smash. But to the dismay of YouTube users the world over, Radiohead weren't too happy about it and footage of the performance was soon removed due to copyright infringement. In a dramatic U-turn, the Oxfordshire band have given their consent and the video is now back in all its Purple glory.

You can watch the performance below:

Prince even posted a tweet sharing the clip:

Clocking in at just over eight minutes, the Purple One’s rendition of Thom Yorke and co.’s anthem is the definition of epic. The track’s sombre extended intro eventually gives way to the genius guitar stylings of Prince as his trusty six-string purrs beautifully across Coachella’s sprawling landscape.

Make the most of that handy replay button while the video’s still online.
