What do you get when you cross madcap electro musician Aphex Twin and a cute, fluffy, snowball of a puppy? This is a question which probably hasn’t kept you up at night scratching your head, granted. But who cares? Because now we have the answer, thanks to Gabe the dog’s quite mesmerising cover of breakbeat anthem ‘Windowlicker’.

YouTube user APBradley has craftily produced the barking mad cover version from the howls and growls of meme-famous pooch, Gabe. It’s a pretty good effort, too – staying true to the track named NME's Single of the Year 1999. Check out the viral hit below:

The remix is clearly going down a storm, with one user commenting “Christmas came early” and another simply asking “Haha, can I marry this video?”

This isn’t the first time the adorable miniature American Eskimo dog has been remixed. In fact, he’s got quite the discography to his name – providing some intense backing vocals to a Kanye West single and his hip-hop stylings to a Dr Dre classic.

Discusssing the possibility of recording an entire album of smash-hit covers, Gabe said: “Woof.” We think he makes a good point.
