Radio DJ and former Pop Idol judge Neil Fox has been cleared of sexually abusing colleagues and underrage fans, because magistrates "could not be sure that, in the context, it was a criminal offence."

Six women made allegations against Fox, with one woman claiming that he kissed her and slid his hand up her skirt when she was 14-years-old. Another alleged that he kissed her in an underground car park in Euston when she was also 14.

There were also three adult complainants, one of whom claimed that Fox regularly touched her bottom, and another who said he approached her from behind and kissed her bare shoulders.

Yesterday though (14 December), Fox was cleared of the charges, with Westminster magistrates saying that the six alleged victims were believable, but that the bench "could not be sure that, in the context, it was a criminal offence."

In a speech outside the court, Fox said that he had been "vindicated" and could not "wait to be broadcasting again."

Fox has been off air (he was the host ofMagic 105.4's popular breakfast show) since his arrest in September 2014.
