The Goddamn Band was joined by Brand New’s Jesse Lacey and Cymbals Eat Guitars’ Joe D’Agostino to cover the Nirvana classic ‘Lithium’.

Kevin Devine and his The Goddamn Band were playing at the Theatre of Living Arts this weekend when the collaboration took place. Devine sang lead, with backing vocals from Lacey on the choruses and bridge, whilst D’Agostino played lead guitar. The trio pulled off a convincing cover of the Nirvana classic.

You can watch the cover below.

The cover served as a finale of an extremely collaborative set. Lacey performed with Devine on ‘Cotton Crush’, ‘Ballgame’ and ‘Tomorrow’s Just Too Late’. In return, Devine helped Lacey out on Brand New’s ‘Brought a Bride’, ‘Mene’ and ‘Okay I Believe You, But My Tommy Gun Don’t’.
